This notice explains how artificial intelligence is used in LucentSignal, what that means for you as a user, and how we approach responsible AI deployment. We believe transparency about AI is essential for trust.
LucentSignal uses AI to help you create content faster and more consistently. The AI is used in the following ways:
Content generation
Your topics, tone preferences, ghost writing profile, and brand voice are used to construct a prompt. This prompt is sent to the Claude API (operated by Anthropic PBC), which generates a draft post. The output is returned to you for review.
Content scoring
Generated posts are assessed by an AI model across four dimensions (clarity, engagement, credibility, and relevance). Scores are indicative only.
Trending topics
Industry-relevant content themes are surfaced using an AI model. These are suggestions, not editorial recommendations.
Content repurposing
Source content you provide is analysed by an AI model to suggest alternative angles and formats.
LucentSignal's content generation is powered by Claude, a large language model developed by Anthropic PBC. Anthropic is a US-based AI safety company. Claude is not built or owned by LucentStar AI — we access it via an API.
For information on how Anthropic handles data processed through its API, see: anthropic.com/privacy
When you submit a topic or use the generator:
Your input (topic, ghost writing profile, brand voice instructions) is combined into a prompt
That prompt is transmitted to Anthropic's API over an encrypted connection
Anthropic processes the prompt and returns a generated output
Your inputs and the generated output are stored in your LucentSignal account
LucentStar AI does not use your inputs or outputs to train AI models. We recommend that you do not include sensitive personal data or confidential business information in your prompts.
AI language models have known limitations. Content generated by LucentSignal may:
Contain factual errors, outdated information, or hallucinated claims
Reflect biases present in the model's training data
Vary in quality depending on the specificity and clarity of your input
Be similar to content generated for other users on similar topics
Require significant editing to match your exact voice, context, or audience
Quality scores provided by LucentSignal are AI assessments, not human editorial reviews, and should be treated as one indicator among many rather than a definitive quality judgement.
You are responsible for:
Reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing or distributing it
Ensuring published content is accurate, appropriate, and compliant with applicable law and platform policies
Complying with any platform-specific AI disclosure requirements (for example, LinkedIn's creator policies on AI-generated content)
Ensuring that content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights
LucentStar AI is not responsible for reputational, legal, or commercial consequences arising from your publication of AI-generated content without appropriate review.
LucentSignal is designed as a human-in-the-loop tool. AI generates a draft; you review, edit, and approve it. No content is published automatically. No account or subscription decisions are made solely by automated systems without the ability for human intervention.
We recommend that users apply their own professional judgement before publishing any AI-generated content, particularly on topics with legal, regulatory, or reputational sensitivity.
LucentSignal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or integrated with LinkedIn, Twitter/X, or any other social media platform. Scheduling a post in LucentSignal sets a reminder date — it does not publish to any platform directly. You are responsible for publishing content through the platform of your choice, in accordance with that platform's terms.
LucentSignal operates as a general-purpose AI application. Based on current guidance, AI-powered LinkedIn content generation is classified as low risk under the EU AI Act. We monitor regulatory developments and will update our practices and disclosures accordingly.
